Machines are increasingly connected to their working environment. And an increasing amount of information is collected – about the product in the machine and the state of the machine itself. The faster, better and more technologically advanced the machines become, the more data is generated, which must then be reliably processed and transferred. Cables must function reliably to prevent unexpected machine failures. And they must do so under harsh industrial conditions, withstanding exposure to oil, water, dirt, extreme temperatures and the like.
